Whitney Rydbeck

Whitney Rydbeck is an American movie and television actor. Born on March 13, 1945, he was a member of the Richmond Shepard Mime Troup in the Late Sixties, later appearing on television in episodes of "The Nanny and the Professor," "The Brady Bunch," "Fantastic Journey," "Far Out Space Nuts" with Bob Denver, "Phyllis," "Wonderbug," "Man from Atlantis" and "M*A*S*H." His first movie appearance was in "Grand Jury" in 1976. He also had roles in the movies "1941," "The Baltimore Bullet," "The Jayne Mansfield Story" with Loni Anderson and Arnold Schwarzeneggar and The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island where he played George the Robot. His later TV roles include appearances on "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color," "Cagney & Lacey," "Highway to Heaven," "Simon & Simon," "Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Murder, She Wrote," "Sisters," "Grace Under Fire," "3rd Rock from the Sun," "7th Heaven," "Party of Five" and "Scrubs." He also appeared in the movies "Kenny Rogers as The Gambler: The Adventure Continues," "Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI," "Oliver & Company" and "A Very Brady Sequel." Today, he works as a drama director at Pasadena City College.
