Her first starring role was in "Belle Starr's Daughter" in 1948 before a string of uncredited roles. She also starred in "Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter" with Jayne Mansfield and "The Hypnotic Eye" with Allison Hayes, but she became better known for her role in "Foxy Brown." Between movies, she was a recurring actress in television shows such as "Leave It To Beaver," "Mister Ed," "The Lucy Show," "Gilligan's Island," "The Monkees" and "I Dream of Jeannie." She passed away on April 10, 1981 in Los Angeles, California.
