Larry Thor is a native of Manitoba, Canada where he worked as a farmer, a ranch hand and then a construction worker. In 1937, he worked for a radio station where he was hired to sing, play the piano and write scripts. His career soon took him to CBS Studios in Canada where he worked as an extra on several TV series, later starring in the series "Broadway Is My Beat," as Detective Danny Clover. He also starred in "The Amazing Colossal Man," "The Phantom Tollbooth" and "The Fast and the Furious" He was married to actress Jean Howell. He passed away on March 15, 1976 in Santa Monica, California, survived by his wife and three sons, Ray, Ken and Davie.
