Signage for the Howell Country Club

Bio[]

The Howell Country Club is a sitting area on the island with a view of the ocean which the Howells use to relax and converse about their lives. Several signs linked by chain up the path to the area are marked "exclusive" and "keep out" to preserve the Howell's sense of prestige. Gilligan often serves as their steward, often screwing up or spilling their juice drinks, but he also briefly becomes a member after winning the lottery, paying for everyone's $50.000 admission fees into the club so everyone can join in at the club. The Professor, in particular, calls the Howells by their first names on arrival. However, Gilligan soon learns the ticket is invalid, and the Howells end up not frequenting the area as much in later episodes.
