Fred Sloan and his unnamed wife were two of the first guests to stay at the Castaways. As a dentist, Fred only gets two weeks a years for vacation, and at the resort, they become friends with the Elliotts who they arrived with, but as the Elliotts' quarreling started to ruin their vacation, the Sloans started to avoid them. It is unrevealed if they made up after.
