Bio[]
Mountains are a large tectonic landforms that stretch above surrounding lands in limited areas, usually in the form of a peak. Mountains are generally steeper than hills and are formed through tectonic forces or volcanism. These forces can locally raise the surface of the earth, eroding slowly through the action of rivers, weather conditions and glaciers. Although not obvious in the long distance images of the island, the castaways seem to preside at the base of a mountain on the island riddled with caves created by the volcano, also located on the island. Mary Ann suggests the Skipper fake a broken leg on one of the cliffs to make Gilligan a hero in How to Be a Hero, Lord Beasley Waterford traipses through the area in pursuit of the Pussycat Swallowtail and George Barkley hides out here during his clandestine radio broadcasts, later tossing his transmitter off a cliff, perhaps the same cliff from which Lord Beasley and even Gilligan take falls. Mr. and Mrs. Howell even debate tossing themselves off from the peak in Agonized Labor.
