Dummy Castaways are artificial mannequins created from materials on the Island to deceive and/or function in experiments on the island conducted by the Professor. They are first created to give the impressions of great numbers after fears of gangsters landing on the island are heard, an incident obviously hoaxed by Sam The Parrot. The dummies are later recreated to test a rescue boat left on the island by the ghost, but they are blown up and the clothes washing back up on shore. The Professor also has Ginger and Mary Ann build a dummy to test the XJB Jet Pack which washes up on shore.
